Ferretti launches first Ferretti 960 motoryacht​

Italian builder Ferretti has launched the first hull in the Ferretti 960 series. The Ferretti 960 is essentially the replacement or successor to the Ferretti 881 model series. The design is one carved out by a familiar collaboration in Studio Zuccon International Project, Advanced Yacht Technology (AYT) and the Centro Stile Ferretti Group. Looking on the interior, the first hull of the Ferretti 960 is the first to feature a five-cabin layout for its guests. Four double-bed staterooms exist on the lower deck, forward of the engine room and aft of the crew accommodation. The lower staterooms all mirror each other in location and in layout as well. Performance wise, the Ferretti 960 is powered by a more powerful version of the standard engine package (MTU 16V 2000M84), and that is expected to give her a top speed of 31-knots with cruising in the region of 27-knots. She will make her public world debut at the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes in September.
