Hey some bad news guys...had a lil accident yesterday when I went to photograph "Seven Js". I'm fine but my camera isn't. While wading through the thigh-high water under the causeway in the dark going back to the car I tripped on a rock and the camera took a swim. So it's done for now. I have the SD card with the pics from yesterday though...but I can't take any more photos off arrivals with that camera so I have to buy a new camera soon Probably a better one than that.
:O Oh no that's terrible!! I really hope you can get a replacement at soonest.....you camera took such flawless photos
Oh no man.........That's one of those sh***y moments in life that happen. What kind of camera was it? Canon are releasing some new cameras............maybe go for a water proof one........
Good thing you are safe man, we are all indebted to your ongoing efforts and contributions. Hope you get back on flicking soon! Thanks.
I think the best picture you have taken with your deceased friend was the picture of "Vava II" with the fisherman in front and "Vava II" in the background. Memories..................
Thanks everyone. I am fine. I feel bad yes because I was now mastering the camera. Funny you found that "Vava ii" picture as my best pic. I mean when my eye was in the EVF I saw the guy come into the frame and I was like why is this guy here to spoil my pic. Then I realized he was fishing so I decided to wait until he cast his line so that it would look like he was fishing for the yacht! That was just my creativity at the time.
Continued coverage... btw anyone know the make of this tender? * Close up of aft tender detail * Bow detail * Tuna tower... * general shot reversing * I not sure if you can see but I perfected the timing of the shot. Got him as he released the line toss. In high resolution you see it easy but had to reduce for the forum standards.
More... * Hot gleaming sun over PSC... * Sunset from Port Ferdinand * again from Port Ferdinand bridge * "Seven Js*"
Looks like the PJ "Our Way" is back here again. I haven't gone down to the marina to confirm this...as you all know why...
