Some more pics taken by my dad.... D NATALIN in Gibraltar on the 20th May. CASUARINA in Gibraltar on the 22nd and 25th May. Daniel
SAMAR in Gibraltar on the 24th May and a closeup of her helicopter. SEVEN SINS in Gibraltar on the 24th May. HUNTRESS in Gibraltar on the 25th May. LADY ZELDA in Gibraltar on the 25th May. Daniel
NORTHERN STAR in Gibraltar on the 20th May. POLAR STAR in Gibraltar on the 25th June (this photo taken by me). Daniel
I love the very purposeful look of both of these. It's definitely a case of the owner saying "I want exactly the same, but bigger!"
Well on the exterior but the interior of the new "Northern Star" is quite different but still follows the same theme.
"Lauren L" looks so nice since she got redone. This is of course in comparison to the old design when she was called "Constellation". She has been sold now apparently?
The line attached to the bumpers on the Lauren L looks longer than my whole boat ! The mates must have muscles like Popeye........
Looking at where the lines emerge - and taking into account the need to keep them clear of all that paintwork, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t have some sort of mechanical assistance.
Thanks MKM, didnt see her but I know that my dad got some pics of her. More pics of PELORUS in Gibraltar on the 16th July. Dainiel
anxious to see your dad's ones. Certainly Pelorus is much more interesting than Eclipse, seeing from your pics.
Speaking of exterior general appearance only, because they are different, that I can. Eclipse is a big quite normal small cruiser ship, when Pelorus is advanced with streamliner elements of whole volume, but both at least 95% right in design and even the fact belonging same owner. It had once a link which RA yacht you prefer more...
Apologies as I know that the following yacht was not taken at Gibraltar. I saw her whilst on a Med cruise. KISMET seen leaving Civitavecchia, Italy on the 20th July. Daniel
