Hi, The savings are worth the travel if you can load enough and travel at a reasonably economical speed to do a return trip from inside the MED. The tax paid price is normally pretty close to the pump price you see in gas stations on the road. I don't know what the current tax paid price is per litre in the Med but todays quote in Gib is approx 50 Cents US a litre for MGO.
Yep they have It is not as mad as you think as I think K!W! said earlier, once you fill up and return slowly/economically you will have lots of fuel in your tanks! It would be madness to go all the way to Gib and then burn it out.
I just love how SKAT looks like a Navy warship, including the number 9906 painted on its stern. 9906 happens its project number during its build at Lurssen.
Some photos taken by my dad PEGASUS in Gibraltar on the 28th August. FOREVER ONE in Gibraltar on the 3rd September. AVANGARD II in Gibraltar on the 4th September. FORTUNATE SUN in Gibraltar on the 4th September. Daniel
My word, "Pegasus" crossed the Atlantic fast! For the time that Capt Cruz said she arrived in FL and the time Daniel said she was in Gibraltar, that's quick. But in retrospect, 10-11 days did past from the 28th so, it just seemed so.
Hi, It might be the real thing - these days one never really knows what is available to those with the correct contacts
Unless Caymans is offering a new class of yacht registration called "commercial or private warship" I think there might be some real problems clearing into most of the world's ports.
You are probably mistaking the roller heads where the ropes go through on Norwegian Jade in the background.
