    I realise something in most of A's photos. The raised portion on the stern which seems to be either a shading mechanism or area to store things are always up when she is at rest and when underway they are retracted to give a clean profile.

    Noticed the same thing. Appears to be a line handling (crew only) area.

    Al Shoua

    It has been reported elsewhere that Al Shoua will be the shadow boat to Al Mirqab and was converted by Shadow Marine under the working name Paladin Shadow II. She's 56m and the former offshore service vessel Interceptor originally built by Rockport Yacht & Supply Co in 1980.
