Yeah she is definitely coming down here now... @SeaEric, do you know if she is going to the Bridgetown Port or to Port St. Charles Marina?
I wasn't sure of the itinerary. I saw a notification from the broker re her location that she was enroute to Barbados. May be her next stop.
I was in Bridgetown last week... no nice yachts to be seen. I did like the tug painted in the colors of the Bajan flag though.
Both our tugs were painted in our colours as well as one of our pilot launches... "Pelican II" is still painted in our colours while "Barbados II" has had her colours altered because the port went into an agreement with Svitzer to lease out that tug when needed. So they painted it in neutral colours. Our pilot launch "Bridgetown" is also in our colours... while the other one "Hamilton" is white and black. I didn't even know you were here Kevin. Well pretty much all the yachts left.
Pelican II was the one that was active when we were there... didn't actually do anything, but it was windy enough that I guess it was on standby. Unfortunately I was only there for the day (last Wednesday) otherwise I'd have gotten in touch. We went to see the Concorde in the morning, and then visited a friend of my wife's in the afternoon and spent a few hours at the beach (Worthing).
Heesen "4YOU" just arrived at the Bridgetown Port... I caught her late when she was about to come through the channel, I tried to get into position before she got into the harbour amongst the cruiseships but didn't get there in time... so no photos, I tried... I didn't know she was coming.. Sorry guys
No problem Ron! Next time you tell them they should ask if you are ready before they arrive in Barbados' territorial water
A couple shots of her when she was in the Port of Bridgetown... here is one... http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2223191
76-meter Feadship "Ebony Shine" passed through here today to bunker. She left just after sunset bound across the Atlantic for Tenerife. I assume she may be trekking towards Monaco for the Show perhaps.
