Everybody says "Skat" looks like a warship...I think she is a sexy design...very strong, angular, proportional, yet still has a smooth look to her. I hear people talking about "A" looking like a warship or sub or something too.

Many of the world's superyachts and megayachts are in the Caribbean for the Winter season. Generally from November to March, of course some of them stay in the region far past the traditional season because they maybe private. However, many of these yachts are on the charter market so they follow the winter and summer seasons. They leave around March/April or so and head across the pond to the Mediterranean/Europe/Asias/UAE etc for the Summer period.

She departed the harbour last night and was at anchor in Carlisle Bay then when I checked this morning she was no where to be seen. Possibly she left the island...Here's YachtPictures' photo of her inbound a few days ago...

and she came back just as fast but she may soon leave for good. The crew are preparing her for her Atlantic Crossing. Yesterday they took the main blades off the heli and put on the custom cover. Looks like they are cleaning the tenders before covering them up again today. The starboard side bow locker is opened as well so I assume one of the crew tenders might be on the water possibly cleaning the hull.

Nope, I took so many of her in this thread already. I didn't see it necessary to photograph her again.

Okay, "Katara" departed about 25 min ago for good. She sped away pretty much near her top speed and I guess it may be reasonable to expect her next destination is Gibraltar enroute to the Med.

Here are a few distance shots. By the time I realized she was ready to depart she was already off the dock and made no sense me driving down for closer shots because I would not have made it in time.
