"Azteca" and "Katara" have both left their anchorages off Trevor's Way and are back in the main harbour again.
"Kogo" is gone as well... "Katara" just left the harbour half an hour ago to take up position at anchorage since we are expecting five cruise ships tomorrow.
I spy "Silver Shalis" and tender in tow...in the distance. By time and they get close in and after waiting on the other cruise and container traffic to pass in and out it will be dark so I will not be able to get photos this evening. EDIT*** "Silver Shalis" is in the harbour now...on final approach to the Cross Berth. It is one thing to look at her in photos but seeing her in person is a totally different story. She is absolutely stunning especially lit up.
The yacht pictured above is the "AztecaII", The 72-meter built by CRN as "Clarena II" and now known as "Azteca" is a different yacht and is the new yacht for the owner that had the previous one as far as I know. And Yes Justus she was built in 2005 by Nereids Yachts as the "Thetis" I think. Then she became "Azteca" and with the buying of the 72-meter CRN (Azteca) her name was 'changed' to what it is currently 'Azteca II' Interestingly on a side note in the pic above.....Azteca II has the same exact kind of deck plants that the Azteca has and the name plate is in the same exact style/font too
Caught "Katara" on "Emerald Princess" webcam yesterday afternoon when she was turning around to depart.
I just discovered this short video of the "Eclipse" arriving in Barbados for the first time right after crossing the Atlantic on her maiden voyage to the Caribbean. www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5HYMkUDPwo&feature=related
"Katara" is preparing to depart the Bridgetown Harbour. EDIT** She has departed now on her way out of the island at near top speed. She might be headed somewhere in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles, Caribbean
