    Hi,

Kruse, I think he was talking about the original motor yacht that was PJ Boat.

It had a few adventures itself whilst in NQEA in 1998. It had a fire on the upper aft deck one Sunday evening, the Engine Room Halon was accidentally set off by the yard and she fell over in the drydock another weekend.

Turmoil, the one pictured, is now lying in Newport, RI. I am frequently on the water and this is the first time I have seen this vessel in Newport.

    bnk190,

The yacht Turmoil is currently tied up at the Port of St. John's Newfoundland. She arrived around the 13th of July and will probably depart within a day or two.

Hi. My name is Steve. I am new to this forum. I saw Turmoil in Charleston earlier this year. What a beauty! Has anyone seen her since NL or know when she will be returning to the states?

The Turmoil(as shown in post 2), out of the Cayman Islands, with the helicopter deck is in St. John's, NL, currently, she's been here for 2 days.
They were untying the copter to take it up for a flight when I just left viewing the vessel a half hour ago.

The Turnoil, the one from post #2, anchored beside us at the island of Vulcano in Sicliy in 2003 while i was working on the Barabah.

I had a short chat with the owner, really friendly guy. He told me he a traveled some 40k miles with her already. Sorry to hear he may have passed away, I actually just googled Turmoil because i still remember.

Beautiful yacht, nice to see someone build a real ship instead of a fashion accessory. The front deck was taken up with tenders, I don't think you could land a helicopter on there.

    Hi,

    Welcome to Yacht Forums.

The Turmoil pictured in post No 2 was not built in 2003, you must have seen the original Palmer Johnson one which I would say by 2003 would have done much more than 40,000 miles, I saw it in Australia in 1998 and know the Captain who took it over then took it all over the place.

    Hey Everyone!

I heard that the Turmoil was heading to Brazil sometime this month. Does anyone know if they have arrived or when they will?

I just ran that through an online translator to get the gist of it:

Nautico, we generally do not discuss owner's private lives here at Yachtforums. You are more than welcome to discuss the yacht though. :)

Carbon monoxide poisoning, certainly not a good thing to have! Can lead to temporary or even permanent brain injury. It's a good thing you noticed the design flaw during the 'trials' as opposed to somewhere further down the line!
