Al Mirqab is designed by the A-Group under Richard Hein, one of the better from Oceanco before they turned to Nuvolari & Lenard for the promising Y 701 design.

No, I was thinking of Talitha G, with interior and exterior refit design by Jon Bannenberg. http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/15020-post6.html

    Hi,

This is a guess based on some very old memories that may be subject to fade by time but.....

Could the one in the very first picture happen to be what was once called "Ark Royal".

If it is the same yacht it had a pair of Gardners for power and was called this name in mid 80's.

It (AR) was also all over the news for a USCG Zero Tolerance seizure when it was on way to US from a Mexican Shipyard period.

Ark Royal had some similar lines, but this yacht (Emera) was launched as Stilvi in 1974. A C&N/Bannenberg design.
