Another grounding in Croatia... https://yachtharbour.com/news/33m-perla-nero-ran-aground-in-croatia-1004
Ironic name for this Formula... "Coming in Hot". Happened at the LOTO Shoot-Out (Lake Of The Ozarks) at 2AM. Driver was arrested for BWI.
Not sure if we ever saw this one in this thread: Apparently besides breaking the hull a few injuries were sustained... broken bones and such.
This hydro-foil ferry sinking vid is doing the rounds on FB. https://www.facebook.com/motorowodni/videos/1405629576132134/?pnref=story

They had the right idea, but very wrongly implemented: http://www.sailmagazine.com/cruising/cruising-tips/storm-sails-do-you-need-them/
The big problem was that the weather jib sheet was fouled or the leeward sheet had come undone.. You can see the clew curled over to the port side and the guy on deck trying to clear the problem. He might be trying to get the starboard sheet onto the jib. Notice, too, that the crew is all properly kitted out for the conditions with full foulies and vests, and that the jib is a high-tech carbon mylar racing sail. Not just weekend sailors in a rental sailboat. There's a full length video on ******** where the boat is a good distance off the pier where the problems developed, HERE
Yep and then you have the Nantucket fast ferry hitting the Hyannis jetty at high speed http://www.masslive.com/news/index.ssf/2017/06/6_injured_in_cape_cod_ferry_cr.html They missed the turn and went straight up the jetty half a mile away... AIS showed them doing 34kts when they passed by the channel entrance And finally the US Navy destroyer rammed by a container ship off Japan...
