That was good Fish, and here I didn't think they filmed new episodes of the Keystone Cops anymore. So let's see what we've got.
    1) They're launching the boat with a person in it, a cop who doesn't know how to lower the outboard and start it no less. Did you catch him trying to steer it down the ramp? ROFLMAO
    2) Didn't latch the trailer to the hitch, much less lock it.
    3) no chains to the hitch.
    4) apparently the trailer's light weren't even connected.
    5) They had a cop strip down to go recover the trailer. Seems there was already one uniform already wet.

Out of about 6 cops not one noticed any of this. And they let these guys carry guns????

"To protect and serve". Yeah, I really want to count on them to protect me. As for serving, maybe a burger but not much else.

    Hi,

    I reckon its staged.

Not all the cops have their huge well equipped belts on which would be very unusual for any I have ever seen clothed in the US.

It also seems unusual that the camera was able to pan around and catch the action.

I really thought that was our Jax police loosing another boat,,, again.
    SFBs.

For some reason, the trailer dolly was down, when the incline changed, the hitch was lifted of the ball.

Sad to say that the one on the helm was a 'Pro' skipper and the guy running to grab the helm was the Owner.

It's a very fast flowing river and on a windy day. Why did he think a 10hp bowthruster would do a better job of turning the boat than 1600hp of power on the shafts?

    Poor seamanship.

    Edit to add:-

The vid has been cropped a lot from the first one I watched where the skipper reversed out straight into the current at right angles and just hit the thruster into the downstream flow. D*ck!

I took these pictures a couple of days ago at Staniel Cay, Exumas

65 Uniesse lost power and drifted on the rock just NE of SCYC near the cut. We heard the mayday as we were coming in to the dock from the bank side so we went over. Boat was pinned agaisnt the rock by the current which really rips there.

Were able to pass a line (back up anchor rode) but that parted once I tried to pull. Plenty deep around the rock but the current made it very difficult to hold position.

After th line parted, a commercial tower responded that they were a few minutes out so we didn't make another attempt which probably woudl have failed. The tower spent the next few hours getting them off. Boat dint take on water but had serious running gear damage and was towed, I assumed to Nassau.

Took this picture from the tender after we docked. Tide had dropped close to a foot and current was even worst...
