    Ya know, it looks cool.
Other than a spill on "The Smoothest Boat Captain On The Seas" comment,, applied to a canal boat, imagine, at least a dozen captains doing the same thing, a dozen times a day, 7 days a week, rain or no rain, sober or what, and still, no errors or missing digits. NOW, that's worth the mention.
On the other hand, I do that a few times a night in my sleep (dreams).

RC, you're right there with that. I used to take guests to a tranquil beach on a private island off the coast of Antigua. With a big Whaler and V6 on the back, I could trim the motor up and scoot inside the reef in 12 inches of water for a couple of 100 yards to avoid any spray.

As the waves crashed over the coral on the other side, the local fishermen in little dinghies used to try and follow me, thumping and bumping their props behind my big boat. Little did they know I'd snorkeled that reef since I was a boy and knew each and every lump and rock around.

You can't beat a bit of local knowledge. ;)

Not a boat but some kind of water!

I know its an old one, but I feel really sorry for that guy. Did a great emergency landing and then this. But thats the way we humans are. Malicious joy is always involved.:p Sh... happens, but at least nobody got hurt.
