This movie was produced by Peter Guber. The movie was filmed off the coast of Cuba so Peter Guber needed a home base for accommodations during filming. He bought a new 80' Don Brooke's ketch and named her OZ. My ex and I were the 2nd owners of OZ. She had unique features such as a sauna in the master head, viewing port in the master sole, aft deck built-in jacuzzi, piano in the salon…unique features for the mid 80's. Aside from a lot of amenities for a 80' sailboat, she was a fine sailing vessel. We got show-biz stories from Peter such as his favorite guest aboard was Barbra Streisand. Peter said she would sit on deck with headphones on and practice her singing. No music, just Barbra at anchor in the Caribbean, singing.

After we sold her, the next owners had her lengthened to 87. I lost track of her years ago, but would love to hear her whereabouts if anyone knows.
