A Question About Wally 143 Esense

    Hi all!
I have a question... I´ve been looking for the answer everywhere... but I don´t find it!! And... perhaps you could help me.
My question is... when it´s said "Wally 143 Esense can be handled by an ultra reduced crew" can we think that it could be handled by only one person?? It would be plausible that only one person could handle It??
Thanks for your future answers :)

Yes it can be handled by one person, in the same way a Boeing 777 can be handled by one person. In reality you will need to be more than one onboard as you can not be all over the place at the same time. And when something is about to go wrong, you certainly need more manpower.

It would not be sensible to sail a yacht as 'large' as "Esense" with one person. I mean while it may be possible with the high technology aboard sure but in terms of practicality with on person, i'd save that for an alot smaller high tech sailer, maybe one of the smaller Wallys. It would be interesting trying to berth a yacht that size one one person, keepingthe thrusters and rudder and having to run fore and aft for lines then to jump off the yacht then to get back on and tend to the controls, etc it is too much confusion. That was just one scenario.
