re the large white travel device, you may want to figure out if that is to stabilize the drum. When I bought my Post, the surveyor checked the washer and dryer and declared them working fine. The dryer was fine, but the washer drum would not spin, so when I called the Sears repair man, he reached into the drum to spin it and he declared the transmission shot and I need to buy a new washing machine. I went to Sears and the Same unit required the wall to move as it was a bit larger. The machine came with a large white Styrofoam stabilizer for the drum, which keeps the drum centered during transportation. I put thick wide tape on the parts of the Styrofoam that touch the washer sides and drum, and now that is what I use when we are under way to stabilize the drum so it doesn't take out the transmission. I suppose towels or clothes stuffed in the washer would do the same.
