    designer list

Impressive task completed......... Why did you feel this list was necessary? Are you sure it is ever going to be complete. It seems that everyone can be labelled a designer so that the list may be never ending.
Just browsing showed that: H2 website is not correct.
: Starkey Designs' phone # is ancient.
: Kusch Agentur are builders not designers.
Where are : Phillipe Starck (now designing everything from toilets to megayachts)
    : Norman Foster
    : Lavor (france)
    etc........

    Hi Hardy and welcome,

The designers list is complimentary to the builders present on YF. Often, the designers and the builders are seperate entities, but they work together. Because we have a good number of buyers browsing YF, we hope the designers list provides a good resource to help them narrow down their decision.

The list will always be a work in progress. Time moves on, things change. We'll do our best to keep it current and relavent. Regarding the latter... we have tried to keep the list related to Naval Architects and Yacht Designers... not interior or product designers. That list could go on forever! ;)

And yes, Starkey's number is ancient, but I was not able to find a URL for the same, therefore I could not post the most recent info. You are right on Kusch. This was a last minute judgement call on my behalf. Maybe it is better to remove it.

As mentioned earlier, the list is by no-means complete, but it's a pretty good start. We'll continue to add designers as info comes available. In some cases, unless I could locate a URL, I did not include some designers. Just having their name listed didn't serve much purpose w/o having a reference link to their work.

    Thank you for the feedback.

I know they have done many of the yachts at Heesen that I love so much (Sweet doll!) are they a design group that is on thier own that you can add to your listing, or a part of the internal design group of Heesen yachts?

Perhaps they can be included? I would love to see more of thier portfolio especially if they do work outside of Heesen too.

    Thanks!

    Can I make a suggestion

I can't find Hugh Welbourn on the list, he designed various composite racing yachts like "Bols". Just listed a 45' racing yacht designed by him, does anybody know more about him?
