The yacht is in Port de Plaisance. They named the yacht "Honor" since the owner doesn't want the real name to be used in the production.

I wonder how much the owner is paying for this ordeal......somehow I cannot think of any way that this reality tv show could bring a good light to the industry......they usually take the worst (ethically) footage for reality tv shows, so that people watch them......

One of the crew is listed as having a home town of Rhode Island.

I have no problem with that. The entire state of Rhode Island can fit into the city limits (proper city limits) of my home town. Really the distinction between Providence and Coventry doesn't matter that much in the grand scheme of things.

Edit: Holy Airbrush, Batman! Look at that website! They look like they are literally made from plastic.

Why would cocaine put everyone's lives in jeopardy?

    Hi,

If you were unlucky it could for a variety of reasons

Cut with junk that kills you

A weak heart that claps out when you fill your nostrils with it

A dodgy deal where you get murdered while trying to score

    and the list goes on

Wouldn't they have to snort it first before that happened though?

    Hi,

    Only for the first two.

Watch Scarface to get some ideas.

    Lol
Now if they could get the Skipper to talk like "Scarface" then it would be fun.

I reckon it would put the whole crew in danger due to the legal issues of having illicit drugs aboard......it never happens in reality does it?

I know of one skipper arrested in Trinidad when the sniffer-dog found a bag of white powder on his boat. After being handcuffed for hours, he was only released when they worked out that West System Epoxy colloidal silica was not a drug.

She didn't say every ones life's are in jeopardy, she said "every one on board is in jeopardy". Two very different things.

I'm guessing she is talking about the legal ramifications. And for crew the loss of their job/s if it was found to be their coke.

A well known commercial yard in north Fl. sent one of their captains to deliver my client's boat to FLL last year. The captain got busted when stopped by Coast Guard. There were so many razor lines on the lucite cocktail tables, it looked like the mate was also on the "high seas."

I set the DVR to record this as i was/ am interested to see how this is going to reflect on the industry.

I saw that they released a pilot/preview last week and i can now be sure its going to reflect on the industry in a bad way.

    1. It shows all the crew as partiers and the ones that do take their job seriously are made out to look like the bad guys

    2. I believe it will flood the industry with a whole ton of green crew wanting to get into this industry for all the wrong reasons.

    3. It shows the guests as rude and needy while some are in my experience most are not.

    4. I am worried that my owner will now start to think this is how we all are when he is not on the vessel.

That being said the show was terrible and hopefully gets cancelled soon.

Are you really surprised? This isn't a documentary. What sells in Hollywood? Sex and scandal. If there's enough of each it'll stay on the air, but it really sounds like a show designed to do nothing more than suck money from the investors. Deadliest Catch its not.
