    Alex,

I have reduced the size of the image above to 640 pixels wide, YF's standard format. In the future, please do not post images that are larger.

Looks like maybe she's wood/composite. Probably built in Turkey.

If I should guess, it looks like it was born in the mid -70:s as an Admiral from CNL, especially the arch...

Pulling the plug on this one.

This well known (apparently not) yacht is "Lion's Whelp" Designed by Eldredge-McInnis, built in 1966 by Goudy and Stevens.

Sorry, I lost my internet connection several times yesterday. More on your boat with it´s interesting legacy is here; http://www.portlandyacht.com/lionswhelp/1629/OtherWhelps.html

My next question is easy for the yachtspotters. On this unusual view over Monaco you see a big yacht to the far right, what is her name...?

It seems to be the 1998 Heesen "No Escape"...

Maybe you know what dark boat is hiding behind White Rose of Drachs in the above picture..?

    Dang!
See what happens when I don't surf the net for a day or two!!
I knew it was Lion's Whelp as soon as I saw the pic, didn't even have to forage around for a clue like I usually have to!

Yes, you have to be present all the time here...:D

I´ll give another clue on the mystery boat. The shipyards head office is in one of the buildings close to the pier.

And a bit of trivia, the bouys you see outside is marking the no-boating zone for the Monaco Heliport. You can see the lights of one heli approching on my first picture.
