In the category of amazing coincidences, I'm watching a megayacht program on the Travel Channel right now. Just finished a segment with YF member Stan Antrim (Shadow) being interviewed and an upcoming segment will feature the largest steam driven yacht still afloat.
The SS Delphine had a very interesting past. I never get tired of this Travel Channel Episode on Megayachts, and am inspired by the magnificent restoration work done on SS Delphine by the current owner. I don't smoke, but I absolutely admire the Smoking Room, with all the exquisite woodwork and huge leather-tooled chairs. She is just breathtaking!
Kiwispotter you go - I'm on the laptop at the momment and have nothing to offer, as all my files are on the desktop.
Name this one. (Side note, I don't actually know the name myself... I took the pic, but it's one of the ones I forgot to note which yacht it was.)
I'm leaning towards Alpha IV. Yep, definately Alpha IV. I just noticed the tender garage door on the upper deck.
Two perspectives on this. One from the helicopter and the other from the bow pulpit. Made a big splash a few years ago, now just ripple...
Rules? I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put up a picture of a boat wearing a disguise, but here it is. Hints: ~That is my 145' dwarfed on her starboard side ~She began her life as a Feadship
Thanks Ken. I'd be REALLY good if I could name the 145'. Here's the next item up for bids. We're working on a feature review of this yacht right now...
