I read that Malcolm reported in BrokerageNews that the Lady Michelle sold. This is true. I read further that the asking price for Lady Michelle was $12mil. USD. This is also true. However, I did not read that the Lady Michelle sold for her asking price. And again, I believe the sale price was closer to $9.4mil.

Same again for Lady Linda... I believe her final price was closer to $19mil.

News is that the Trinity "Katharine" has been successfully sold at the end of last year. Her last asking price was 28.9-Million USD after being lowered from her previous around the time of the 2009 edition of the FLIBS. It is being said that she will now endeavour in a 5-month refit at Rybovich.

The International Yacht Collection (IYC) suggests on their website that Trinity 190-foot hull T045 will me called "Mi Sueno". She has an interir by Patrick Knowles.

That is a true statement from a known source at Trinity, and she is on the market in the low $50M range. She was being built for a Russian businessman who "had a change of plans". She splashed late December 2009. She is an all aluminum hull and SS.

PM for pictures in the sling if you wish.

    New Designs

I am surprised no one has mentioned anything about the new designs Trinity is posting. They list three new yachts under their Conceptual Design section (http://www.trinityyachts.com/conceptual.asp) that would seem to be a pretty clear departure from the usual Trinity style.

125' Express Day Boat, Planning Hull Design
141' Semi Displacement, Trideck Motor Yacht
192' Axe Bow, High Speed, Displacement Motor Yacht

Each listing is accompanied by a drawing which opens to a much larger PDF for greater detail.

Yes I know it seems to be a trend. It must be something in the water, no pun intended.

Thanks for the tip, YachtNews. I enjoyed looking at the interior photos. There are elements I like quite abit but as with many other Evan K. Marshall interiors I find some of the spaces to be overdesigned and dare I say gaudy. No snobbery or snub intended toward EKM, as he has clients who commission him for just such effect.

P.S. The interior of Norweigen Queen makes me want to jump overboard!

Interior photos can be found Here : http://www.evankmarshall.com/norwegianqueen.html

Not that bad. We have seen worse around here. I do really like the layout of the master though.

Thanks, Scot, why didn't I think about the designer's website.

Interesting interior..Seems very 'Alice in Wonderland' in atmosphere in some areas, yet dark and dungeon-like in others. It's the first time I have seen an interior like this, it is rather hard to explain but as the designer said, 'striking' design and definitely a new direction for Trinity Yachts.

For those interested, the "Anjillis" was the feature charter yacht of the week over on the Camper Nicholsons website. You can see the short clip there...

"Big Zip"? I thought she was to be launched in June?
