Does anyone know what the total movement of the tab is from fully retracted to fully extended? My tabs are original Bennett on a 45C Hatteras 1989 and only move 1.5 inches total. There is no growth on the tabs and the fluid is at the correct level with no leaks. Both move the same amount.

I ask because it seems the tabs are not as effective at lowering the bow as they once were so was wondering if it's possible they are not extending completely for some reason. Any thoughts are appreciated.

It doesn’t sound like much. I would say 3” minimize, at least that is what the Bennett do on my 53.

Thanks for your response Pascal. That is what I figured, didn't seem right.
