    Sure... Real easy to store on most boats, right?

    In our case we go out two or three times a week, spending time to set up and store tender boards is a pita. Then when you come in and out you need a crew at each piling to man the fenders... Let see... 2 pilings on each side... I ll stick to a good rub rail!

    Again if the boat goes out once a month, it s fine. But then it s not a boat, it s a floating condo

    You have fenders out when entering or leaving your slip? Hooking a fender is a quick way to get turned sideways.

    Of course not, I never use fenders in a standard slip with pilings, if the line are properly adjusted you don't need them... If if the slip is too narrow half the time the fenders are useless anyway

    Chaulks was the oldest flying international airline, up until they had a crash in government cut taking off and were permanently grounded by the FAA. =)
