You have probably figured it out but just saw your question and chain of responses. I have a 1997 45 and a 2002 52 Ocean Yachts. Both have the same system described by Just Cruisin. Shore water connection is behind the panel on the port side of the cockpit on the 52 -- its the fresh water wash down faucet. Use a two female end coupling to make the connection between your shore hose and the fresh water wash down faucet. Turn on the water. As long as your shore pressure is higher than your boats water pump cut off pressure your boat pump will not come on (I turn the boats pump off when connected to shore water). I use an inline pressure regulator when I have a shore connection with high water pressure
