Sea cocks: Bronze or composite?

A bit off topic, but I've switched to poly strainer baskets, away from the stainless. I keep multiple baskets for each strainer, and drop them into and keep them in a HCL dilute solution. Kills growth and slime, doesn't impact the poly. I replace them upon any signs of deterioration or damages. But I keep the fittings bronze as a standard.
