    Motor Sailer, Motor Sailor

    I've been partial to the motorsailer concept for years. And I've been an advocate of the multihull platform as the route to go in future motorsailor designs.

    But every once in awhile you run across a real pretty design. This one has been lurking on my computer for some time now so I thought I would post it. Granted it's a little on the small size for this forum's taste.

    Custom, 52’, pilothouse, twin engine, auxiliary cruising sloop with clipper bow, counter stern, round bilge and full ballast keel with slot for drop keel designed to be lovely and functional. She has best of everything and sails in a manner one would expect of such lovely yacht.

    The 43 m Vitters from 2002 "Red Dragon" (ex "African Queen") is renamed in "Vent d'Est"

    The Alloy 51.7-meter "Kokomo" has been sold! The 2006-built yacht was sold for her asking price of 28-Million Euros.
