You are cordially invited to the Rybovich Boat Show!

    RYBOVICH VINTAGE BOAT SHOW

    MARCH 1, 2009 from 2-4pm
    RYBOVICH BOAT WORKS, RIVERIA BEACH

You are cordially invited the Second Annual Rybovich Rendezvous Boat Show!

Back by popular demand, Rybovich & Sons Boat Works will once again delight us with a classic exhibition of Rybovich vintage yachts at the Second Annual Rybovich Rendezvous to be held on March 1, 2009. Organized last year by Pat Rybovich in conjunction with her upcoming book ”RYBOVICH” exploring the yard’s rich history, the event’s inaugural success exceeded all expectations and has now prompted this repeat performance. This year the show is expected to include more than 30 vintage and modern Rybovich sportfishing boats along with an assortment of art, displays, fish stories and unparalleled Rybovich-style hospitality.

    ABOUT THE BOOK
With an upcoming book launch in the fall of 2009, RYBOVICH will be a gorgeous oversized tribute to 90 years of boat-building excellence. Author Pat Rybovich, one of Tommy Rybovich’s four daughters, knows the stories that only a family member can tell and without a doubt, the Rybovich tale is a lively one! Enriched by spectacular photography, the book will take the reader on a voyage from the 1947 launching of Rybovich Hull #1—considered the world’s first true sportfishing boat—to the breathtaking yachts being built by Rybovich today. The book will also pay tribute all those who have built, cherished, and maintained these magnificent boats over the past 60 years.

    ABOUT THE EVENT
The RyboRendezvous Boat Show will once again reflect the uncompromising nature of the original three Rybovich brothers: Johnny, Tommy and Emil. Last year’s Rendezvous—with a lineup of stunning custom-built sport fishing boats docked in chronological order—began with 1949 Rybovich Hull #4 and traveled through the decades with a display of over 20 boats. Fingerprints from such familiar names as Maytag, duPont, Gillette, Kimberly-Clark, Ballantine, Anheuser-Bush and Firestone are still sprinkled throughout many of these fabulous vessels.

Alongside the vintage yacht exhibition, the latest Rybovich creations will be displayed: From the 65’ Cacique that captures the Rybovich tradition of unparalleled sportfishing experience being built by Rybovich today to the retro styling of the 2007 Lizzy Bee, the very latest Rybovich creations of Michael Rybovich will be richly represented-- marine craftsmanship at its finest! As you wander from craft to craft, you’ll also meet and visit with some of angling’s most renown artists, authors and captains. For true boating enthusiasts and those who appreciate angling’s great history, this is your day!

We invite you to join us for this memorable display of vintage Rybovich boats, Sunday March 1, 2009, from 2pm-4pm at Rybovich & Sons Boat Works in Riveria Beach [minutes north of West Palm Beach on US#1]

See you at the Rybovich Boat Show!

Note: The Rybovich Boat Show is by-invitation-only. To request a complimentary invitation, simply email Pat.Rybovich-at-Rybovich.net Please include in the subject line, ‘Boat Show Invitation’

Where did the Rybovich MSNsite go?

Is there a new Rybovich group? The MSN group has been inactive for some time.

    Hello,
Regarding the Rybovich-site, msn-seems to have stopped offering msn-sites, so the Rybovich page has been moved and it's now at the following address:

    Classic Sportfish [classicsportfish@sfly.com]

One of the members of this site, Carlos ("Tango") is in charge of the Rybovich-site and can give further information about how to access the website. It's new & improved...worth checking out!

Hope this info helps & talk to you soon,
    Pat
