feadship BTW - if you send me a private message with your email Ill send pics of my Feadship restoration work in prog and the rest of my "fleet"
Ist that yacht the van Lent that was in charter under the name FLAME? You decided to accept quite a challenge. My respect for that.
So it´s most probably not FLAME... The sihouette with the white painted superstructure looked so simliar, that´s why it reminded me of that one. Thank you David. By the way, your Feadship project seems to make real good progress.
Feadship Flame is Similar but definitely not same as Notorious ...Flame is much smaller boat and is still available for charter in Caribbean
Cool boat. Well I removed the old bad teak and installed new steel beams and new plywood with new fiberglass. I think I will wait a year or two for the new teak. Not sure I will have time to keep the teak up, I may sell my yacht. Not sure I have enough time.
I tried to look at your older pictures and it seems as they are hotlinked to an obsolete server instead of posted here..?
Apple made some changes a while back. I have to do my hosting at godaddy now and it messed up my old links. Lostpearl.net My boat is aluminum I just used steel for the beams. There much stronger. My wood were gone so I had to do somthing and a 4" aluminum beam just wasn't strong enough.
That's why the YF policy of no hotlinked images makes sense. For this thread, losing the early images really diminishes its usefulness.
They weren't hot links They were from my Apple/mobile me, but they changed moble in 6/12 and now we had to change to godaddy or someone else for hosting. None of my links are the same.
The expression hot-link is used also when linking to an image storing service and in the past several of these have been hacked and/or like yours, shut down. This is one of the reasons we would like the pictures on YachtForums to be hosted at YachtForums.
For sale? Looks to be the same vessel, but named "Lost Pearl", located in TN, and if I recall the lines are the same... 103 ' YACHT Lost Pearl in Powerboats & Motorboats | eBay Motors Sorry for the hotline, but don't see another way to convey the info
Looks like the same yacht. too bad he is selling. He was so enthusiastic about the Pearl & broke his back working on her. Too bad...
No, no, no! Didn't break anything that I've heard. I bet it broke the bank account but hey, boats do that to many of us!!lol I was just saying he worked his rear end off & that it was too bad he had to put the Pearl on the market.
