    Those steps sure look like teak. Interesting how they make it look thick like a solid piece of wood.

    a second revive for this thread .... I ve tried pretty
    much everything on my hatt including varnish, cetol, and Bristol. For the last 5 years I ve switched to Awlwood (by Awlgrip). Great stuff. No sanding between coats till the last 2, last a year in sofl. Also been using it on my little gaffer which has a lot of mahogany.

    Yep, i think i am going FlexiTeak, My local installer does an amazing job on the detail.
