Quick Lift Davit.

Looking for a ten pin male barrel exterior 12v electrical connector. strange pin arrangement. For a Quick lift 1600 that has delivered outstanding service for almost two decades now.
Any info on how to contact them or where I can find this will be greatly appreciated.

Yes it is for the remote, it seems basic and cheap there are millions of 10 pin connectors out there but that configuration seems rare, I can't find one after a bunch of looking, this post was a last resort. I used your info here to call Danny(prior to your response); but he said that they have zero of anything- support, parts, nada. Quick Lift is completely and totally gone. That is a bummer, **** good davit, I've had a few and this is the best by far.

UMT marine makes a similar looking davit, sent them a pic, maybe I'll get real lucky. The remote is a spare so things could be worse, need to fix it tho so it really is a spare instead of just looking like one. I have recently replaced the female part on the davit so I don't want to change that out to the ubiquitous 10 pin stuff I can find easily. That's three soldering jobs compared to one. This connector must exist someplace.

Hello all, recently purchased a Novatec 55. It has a Quick Lift Davit that has stopped working. The cable works in and out okay but the arm will not rise. I can hear the hydraulic pump working and can see one of the hydraulic lines building pressure. I believe one of the solenoids is the issue. Can anyone provide me with a contact for someone familiar with the lift that I can talk with to see if I can figure out what is going on with the lift. Thanks in advance.

On mine they are relays, not solenoids. Black cubes about 1" square and they do fail. There are two mounted on the pump housing, try switching them. Sounds like one failed. good luck

Yes the pump engages when a button is pressed. I will look for the access plate on the davit and check for any broken wires on the remote. Thanks.

Sorry for the really bad advice. the intent was good. Your problem sounded like what I had and the relay was the problem. The ONE relay, I had to check as I misremembered two.
Pascal running on 8 year memory and a understanding of the circuit; impressive.

Thanks, as I recall there are no rods on the valve body. I will double check when I get to the boat again. I did check the remote and all wires appear connected and the pump runs. I’ll let you know what I find.

Follow up,
this weekend I removed the top plate on the quick lift and found two solenoids under the plate. The lift worked perfectly when the plate was removed. When I put the plate back on the lift it would not work. I saw there are two solenoids that have a spring loaded push top and when the plate was put back on, it depressed one or both solenoid tops. There was a missing gasket under the plate and I made a gasket out of a sheet of cork. Put it back together and it works fine. Thank you all for your suggestions.
