Then that's da plan. Keep us up in mid term inspections please.
What out of water life does the treatments have?
Probably a couple of years before the competition really gets heated up.
Probably a couple of years before I can afford any treatment any way.

On your personal boat, your best bet is to go with Tri Lux white on the running gear, the material is not that pricey and it works and lasts REALLY well on boats that cruise under 20 knots.

We have been having fun with an epoxy primer and different Vivid colors.
It's off the wheels by the years end but offers some protection to the shaft for a lil longer.
Diver under the boat monthly so there is really no worries.
With the silt in our area and shallow operation, Nothing is going to last for us.

I don't think the Tri Lux is expensive. I think it's pretty cheap but made just for running gear. I got 15 months out of on a 58' Hatteras YF before it started wearing off.

Dropped off the props at the shop yesterday for the teflon prop guard application. I will get them in a couple weeks, and on they go at haul out in April. I'll post some pics soon.

If you click on the picture, the whole photograph will open up showing two props.

I resized that prop pic. In the future, please reduce images to 800 pixels before uploading.

Couldn't confirm that yet. Had some other issues so limped from the yard, back to the marina. Will do this soon.
