Didn't Ferretti group incorporate that "Fer.wey" concept into the 63' Bertram?

Just for my own edifcation what are they? They look like a cross between a normal yacht and a houseboat.

They are designed as houseboats. This brand used to produce nearly 80 of these boats for expats living in Hong Kong before they went bankrupt.
They also designed and build cruisers based on the same hull mould and engine lay-out. They had a different superstructure.

MaxPower where did you see these boats, Singapore?

And I would bet they might be using them as live-aboards considering the price of housing in Singapore

More or less, but I think you have a picture of the hull on the hard, right?

Liveaboard houseboats? Seems unlikely with no sign of a clothesline, TV dish, heck, not even any empty pizza boxes in sight on deck.

    Nahhhh.

From the look of those mountains in the background of the boat photo, I'm sure those are not the vessels in Singapore

Apparently you haven't seen some of the houseboats on Lake Cumberland, or any of the other inland lakes. Not everyone has the need of a vessel that can take on extreme water/ sea conditions. I dock at a 900+ slip marina, and I would say I've seen more clothes lines and pizza boxes at the cruiser slips.

Houseboats seem to be quite popular in the SF Bay area/Sacramento Delta region as well. One can cruise in the SF Bay as well as travel extensively throughout the Sacramento River Delta. If one is so inclined, you can go by water to Sacramento or Stockton. In Sausilito, they tend to be a bit eclectic and are usually quite expensive.
