If that was the case Chris, then why would they go through all the trouble of disguising the lines instead of just throwing a tarp over it? ;)

    1) Technology
The project is based on the innovative hull and propulsion technology designed and developed by the Swedish company. The technology’s advantages are well know a huge reduction in fuel consumption and pollution with greater speed(to achieve the same speeds with a traditional construction,up to 10 times more power and consequently consumption and pollution is needed).
The hull is made of high tensile steel:this means less weight and greater structural resistance. The engines are traditional Scania fast patrol spec diesel engines:simple, light and the most reliable on the market(as well as being the cleanest engines-they comply to the very stringent Euro 4 rules).
    2)Production
The ship will be built in two main modules(Technology:the hull, the propulsion system and all the other technical parts:
Architecture:all the habitable parts, the cabins and the decks).
The main modules(made of sub modules)will be produced separately and will be assembled only during the phase of the final ship assembly. This production technique grants a quality unknown to this market and comparable to the quality offered by the automotive and aircraft industries.
On top of that, production times will be shorter, much more cost effective and a big and dedicated production line will not be needed because of the possibility of using (automotive, aircraft or naval)subcontractors.
    3) Specifications
This is the new definition of luxury. The use of the technology will be rational by building simple elements
instead of assembling over-complex and over-specified components.
The target is to create a “Best of Market” icon characterized by smart and simple solutions.
A greater reliability can be achieved with less maintenance costs while granting an image at the highest levels.
The hull technology allows a space and a freedom of lay-out never seen in the market(the floor is flat through the whole length of the ship and there is a 110 square meter living space on the lower deck)
    4)Style
The style,as well as the technology,is aircraft inspired and reflects it’s high technological content associated with pure and simple lines. The shear elegance is obtained thanks to a systematic approach intended to eliminate any superfluous decorative element.Indeed, weight reduction was the main goal and has been applied in the minimalist interior as well.

Looks like a Wally that went even more futuristic. Warped about 50 years ahead.

This is certainly not the vessel seen, which has more more regular characteristics in the profile than illustrated by Captain Chris. I think he's pulling our leg???

This is the rendering from an Italian design studio on future developments of the Swedish Stormfågeln project. Which is in a very early stage and only future will tell if they are on the right track....

    example

I didn't think it was the exact yacht, my intention was to show it as an example of the bow section.
Would I dare pull your leg? :p
