Looking out my office window in Troy New York, I watched Lady Christine head south towards NYC this past Monday, June 22, 2009.

    Amazing.

    Lady Christine

I have to Agrre with NYCAP here Mike.. Pic on 27 is a pice of artwork.. Loks likme the whole Yacht is explring USA. She was basically based Europe An for sale if anyone is Interested. For a tidy 41,000,000 That's FOURTY ONE MILLION LOL. She worth every cent. They have now dropped the price to bring it into our price range (ordinary people that is:D ) To a cool 39,900,000 .

I am really not suprised all you guys think she is so lovely. BUT ! I was at work the other day and one of my people came and saw Mikes Picture in troy as my desk top. You know what he said... "I think that is the most hidious ugly yacht I have EVER seen."  Well I he has no talent and no taste. AND obviously not all his dogs are barking..:p Keep the pics coming people..Mike..The pic I want is with the greenary.. Well done with what you told me and don't undersell yourself..;)

There are more ugly yachts out there, but also better looking from Oceanco, like the Lady Christina. She is having the same sweeping lines as Lady Christine, but in my opinion a lot more stylish...:)

OceAnco yachts are generally very stylish inside and out but there is something I do not like about "Lady Christine". Yet, there are alot of aspects I like about her. I agree with Lars about "Lady Christina" being the more stylish of the two. However, she does look quite precarious from certain angles, especially 3/4 aft shots.

Personally I think you can't compare Lady Christine or her sister Ships 'Ambrsianna' (original oceanco name) and Lady Lola, To ANY other yacht , OceAnco or other infreior makes. They were and still are in a class of there own. Lars and I had many discussions about this some years ago. As for Lady Christina well she a few years down the road from the other three and like you say, look at the aft en,,well its all wrong. But ofcoarse the original design team was spilt up years ago. As with a lot of the Oceanco present day. I may not like them as much as the older Al Mirqab Constellation blah blah but all Oceanco yachts are still amongst the best designs in the world for being set out against the rest of the mob. Take Feadship..(or not:mad:) All there designs look the same as Moonen its hard to tell one from the other. With exception for one .. Big mother with wood all down the superstructure. THAT was the ONLY decent thing that ever came out of Feadship. Big bulbus rounded fat ladies with NO charachter what so ever. Most of the Oceanco yachts have a soul in their design. Spirit in the long sleek sexy designs. But of coarse some people actually but Skodas, perhaps these same people buy Feadship. If you want a Ferrari, lamboghini or the new E91 M3 then go to OceAnco. Just my opinion having worked for both these companies. But it does make me sad when people pick holes in Lady Christine. She in a class of her own so mind what you compare her with..

Well Angelus we have an idea that you may be biased to OceAnco as with your experience. No one is disputing that they are a poor yard, in fact they are one of the best in the world. No one is "picking holes" in "Lady Christine" either, it is simply that most yachts have a bad side or angle when you look at them. Also, I see you have gone on an emoticon binge, take it easy on the use of the emoticons, they are not for decoration.

    Hi,

She is not alone from the Oceanco stable to suffer from this problem.

Maybe Angelus was involved in some aspect of the design and feels the need to defend it with some seemingly mindless ranting.

As for his opinion on Feadships -all I can say is each to his own:)

From what I have seen Angelus has worked with a number of OceAnco builds and has produced many photos, CADs and other drawings of the said builds. So I understand his personal bias. All I was suggesting was that because they were built by this Dutch yard does not mean they are immune from frayed looks from certain angles. Has nothing to do with bashing any yards or yachts for that matter.
