    You would think with 3 or 4 people on the sailboat a few of them could have just leaned over the rail to prevent a bump... or just put their feet out.... of the guy could have started the motor before hitting A.

    Correct... noticing that they were in trouble I would have thought you would have started the motor alot sooner...leaning over and using your hands and feet would have been last resort to avoid scratching S/Y "A" or even damaging their own vessel on the steel hull.

    Why would they even be in Italy????, I mean, by now, they (Russian yacht owners) should expect to loose their boats if docking in a NATO, EU port....

    They have pulled her foremast! Looks like they have dismantled him into pieces. Several parts of the mast are located to the left of the drydock.

    IMHO, the Med will definately be nicer this summer without all of these O. of R. :).

    More looks like the booms are what are on the dock in view.

    Ron, I think You may be correct. Then the mast would be under repair under this long white canvas on the left side of the hull. The sailing gear was definately not used very much in the past.
