Hi Carl, I haven't gotten anything today on any of my threads. And I'm on WiFi.

Happy Birthday Dave! You're still two years away from the big 50...so you get to go do something stupid this year and next! I hope you have 48 more! And by the way, staying in touch with your inner child helps to keep you young.

I'm sorry Belle...but that was wrong on so many levels! Don't pay any attention to her Dave.

No...what's wrong is getting rid of a speedy boat for a motorcycle.....

But if that's what makes him happy. I'm thinking it's just a crisis of turning 48 and he'll replace the speedy boat soon. What model Moto Guzzi are you getting? Yes, I found their website so I'd know what they looked like. I don't know anything about motorcycles beyond the fact they have two wheels and are noisy.

    Happy Birthday Mate!
You are still "young" depending on which side of 50 you are.

Have a great year with everything you strive for!

    Close but no cigar

"Trade your Italian for an Australian".

That crazy thing looks like being Austrian and not Australian. Close enough :), Looks crazy but interesting. Wonder if it really works in all modes.

Guzzi Owners have an old saying in Europe:

If a Guzzi engine fails the final quality and performance test, the engine mounting angle is rotated by 90 degrees and the failed engine is sold to Harley Davidson. If the engine is even to bad for a Harley, the cylinders are twisted down in order to make her a opposite 2-cylinder and the engine is sold to BMW.

Maybe I am getting old and it was vice versa :p.

And if you feel one day being to old for a big bike, buy one of those. It will go back into production very soon and it is made in GB :D.

Happy birthday Fish and good choice of bike!

I want one of those....that's super cool. Wonder if they actually made their debut and have one built or just all a future item that might never make it to market. Would make a cool tender but too big for our boat as it's 23' long. Or just a toy.

    Oops.

You are most definitely correct and I most definitely wrong.

Pulling the Peel beside the large van....ok...well

    Driving it in. That's cool.

Turning it around inside the van....that was cute.

You could just toss one of those on the deck of most any boat. They only weigh 130 to 240 pounds. But then how much use when they can only go 28 mph. In England they're officially "3 Wheeled Mopeds". In the US, "Motor Driven Cycles." Brainchild of a serial inventor...figures. Those little suckers are over $21,000. Wow. For a fancy tricycle? I pass.

Do not worry Old Phart. Same thing happend to me before. When I was a young boy, one of our neighbours had a sister always comming by a car with a foreign license plate and a big A on the trunk. I was almost 12 years old, until I found out, she was comming from Austria and not from Australia. Probably Australia sounded much more exciting to me :D.

It is still a great find OP. That thing must be an engineering nightmare. Does anybody know what kind of 150 HP engine they are using. If it really works, that machine will be a great (but dangerous) megayacht toy. I am looking forward to see that thing flying in its airfoil mode. But 21 feet in length and 3.300 lbs is a pretty big hardware. And not talking about $$$$$$$$.
