Selection Of Yachts Anticipated To Launch Or Deliver In 2024

It's a new year and many of the notable names in this industry are busy building and finishing yachts that are earmarked for either launch or completion in 2024. We will look at a selection of yachts in the works for this year. There are several large superyachts in the works that will emerge in some form this year.

Feadship for example has 76-meter Hull 825, 83-meter 712, 91.5-meter hull 1012, 118.8-meter hull 821 all have been seen in transit to their finishing yards in the last 2 years. After the buzz created by the 112-meter "Renaissance", Freire Shipyard in Spain has another 100-meter in the works. The Freire 105-meter Explorer should also be seen this year. In Italy, Admiral has a few projects too. The Armani-designed 72-meter 'Metamorphosis' project, 73-meter 'Visionary', 75-meter 'Platinum', 78-meter 'Blue Marlin' are all projects underway at Admiral that we may see in the open this year. Below is a render of the Metamorphosis Project.

Turquoise Yachts also has a few yachts due for this year. 79-meter Project 'Toro', and the H2-Designed 87-meter Project 'Vento' are fitting out. At Lurssen there is the prematurely launched 142-meter Project 'Ali baba', 78-meter Project 'ACE 21', 122-meter Project 'Jag' will be delivered along with the 107-meter "Shackleton" is also due for delivery this year. 140-meter 'Luminance' project should also be delivered this year too. Yesterday saw the launch of Hakvoort's 61-meter Project 'Asia' and that is anticipated for completion this year. No word on the finished name for this yacht but you can see a render for Project Asia. Project Maranello from CRN is due for launch in 2024 along with the third 80-meter "Al Reem" from Bilgin Yachts. First Custom Hybrid 75-meter Yacht Support from Damen is also to be launched and delivered.

At Heesen Yachts, Project 'Akira' is due to be delivered this year as well as the launch of Project 'Serena'. Heesen's Project 'Jade' was originally due for delivery in Spring 2024 but we have not seen her launch as yet. Project 'Apollo' now known as "Iris Blue" will be delivered shortly. "Cinderella Noel IV" (ex. Oslo 24) will be delivered in 2024 after being launched towards the end of 2023. Below is an image of Cinderella Noel IV just before launch.

On the smaller end of the spectrum, Burger Boat has two 180-foot yachts in build with the first expected to be launched towards the end of this year. The second is earmarked for 2025. These two Burger Boats will mark a new direction for the yard as their styling is quite different from what we are accustomed to from the American yacht builder. The first hull was sold in 2021 and should be launched in late 2024. Gregory C Marshall is behind the design of the Burger 180s.

Crescent Custom Yachts 50-meter which launched in 2023 will be delivered in 2024. This hull was originally a Christensen build before that yard closed and Crescent was tapped to complete the yacht for the owner. "Danzante Bay" is the name of the vessel and is named after the Golf resort in Mexico. It is the largest yacht to be 'built' in Canada.

Westport Yachts 135 will be delivered early this year after being launched in November 2023. Pendennis 35-meter Project 'Fox' is due for completion in 2024. The eighth Mulder ThirtySix is due for delivery in 2024 as seen in the rendering below. Pershing's third GTX116 called "Byeee" has been launched and therefore will be delivered by Summer. Silver Yacht's SC22 is due to be launched in 2024. The first Zeelander 8 24-meter is expected to launch in Summer 2024. The first Wider 92 Cat just launched and will be completed by Summer. The 24-meter "Bundalong" by McConnaghy Boats should be at delivery stage now. 24-meter Baltic 80 Custom Pink sloop is to launch in Summer.
