  1. 47-meter 'Revolution' Globe Trotting Yacht Unveiled By Jongert; Vripack
This isn't just another concept that is used to spur interest. This 'Revolutionary' design has been ordered by a customer and the Jongert yard is going to tackle the build with Vripack behind the design. In a bit you will see why this globe-trotting yacht is going to be revolutionary. On the surface it looks just like any other 40+ -meter trideck expedition yacht or a design that was built on Vripack's 'Flow' concept. This yacht will amaze you in multiple ways.
  2. Accommodation for guests onboard the globe-trotting yacht will be in no fewer than seven staterooms. Crew will also have six cabins and a mess to spend their downtime in. Features include a gym, a 6-meter pool on the aft main deck, the ability to carry multiple tenders on the bow -inclusive of an 8-meter limo tender-. She comes in at just under 500GT too.
  3. There is a diesel-electric drivetrain that will offer quieter cruising as well as facilitate another technology that perhaps will be a first on a yacht this size. The electric drives and pods take up less space and therefore a large engine room isn't needed. In fact, the engine room onboard will be 50% smaller than if they utilized traditional equipment. Marnix J. Hoekstra, one of the Creative Directors at Vripack says, "those Veth pods are not in existence yet, Veth is inventing them as we speak." There is another innovation in the works and that has to do with mooring the yacht without the use of lines or anchor. As this project moves along you will surely hear more about it as it is revolutionary.
