  1. Sunseeker Unveils 8X Model Name
British yacht manufacturer Sunseeker Yachts has finally revealed the name of the yacht they were calling the Sunseeker 8X for most of the year. It is now officially called the 87 Yacht and the first unit is expected to be ready for launching by the Summer of 2020. The UK yacht builder has tried to make a vessel in this size category more spacious and the result of their hard work is that the 87 Yacht is approximately 20 percent more spacious than the Sunseeker 86.
  2. The bow is certainly going to be one of the more social areas onboard. With the anchor windlass sunken into the deck, there is one less 'thing' to stump your toe on. The options for seating are ample, side seating flanked by small tables. The centerpiece is a large sunbed and aft of that is another sofa-style seating area. On board expect to find accommodation for up to eight guests in four cabins. The choice of a master suite, a VIP and two twins (that can also convert into doubles) may likely entice many buyers. There is the option of adding another cabin for guests especially for owners with big families or for even the charter market.
  3. There is a full sundeck that features a small bar, al fresco dining opportunities, sunbeds and a jacuzzi. There is also a secondary helm station forward on the port side. Sunseeker are also pushing this new 'innovation' called the 'X-Tend' sunbed design. The 'X-Tend' sunbeds are electrically operated and have been integrated into the design of the 87 Yacht. They can either be raised upwards to face the covered cockpit seating area or lowered to face aft towards the beach club.
