  1. 50-meter "RACE" Launches At Riva
Riva recently launched its 50-meter flagship called "RACE". This is their largest yacht and first made out of full metal. This yacht is also the first build for the Riva Superyacht Division and the owner of this yacht and the founder of Riva Yacht, Carlo Riva both longed to see the yard build a 'superyacht' The founder never got to see this dream come through as he passed before its launch. At least Carlo got to witness the yacht's transfer to the Ancona yard which timed on his 95th birthday.
  2. The Riva 50-meter RACE is a tribute to the long history of this Italian yard and the CEO of the Ferretti Group Alberto Galassi said, -it was- "illuminated by a legendary 177-year history and accompanied by an ultra-contemporary vision of yacht building." This was in reference to the yard taking the plunge and building a yacht way out of their accustomed size bracket.
  3. Power is by two MTU's each with approximately 1,360 horse power and should see this yacht reach a 15 or 16-knot top end. Onboard accommodation will be in six cabins for her twelve guests. Four guest cabins are on the lower deck while the owner's full beam suite as well as the yacht's VIP are on the main deck -interesting layout concerning the VIP-. At just under 161-feet RACE is certainly out front and center to win everyone's appreciation. Transversely she stretches nearly 30-feet (9-meters) as well making for a fairly spacious yacht. Fully loaded RACE will have a maximum draft under 9-feet. RACE will premier at the Venice Boat Show in June and then in September at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
