  1. Latest Pearl 62 Delivered To Its Owner
UK builder Pearl Yachts has delivered the latest hull in the Pearl 62 model. The latest represents hull number 4 of the model to date. While it may just be 'another' Pearl 62, from the outside, it is different internally thanks to an interior crafted by Kelly Hoppen. The interior itself is a luxury package no matter which styling is chosen by the owner.
  2. The interior is fitted with a four cabin layout on the lower deck. You will find a full-beam owner's suite complete with his and hers closets, quiet reading nook on one side, expansive windows and its own private staircase access. The bed has been placed along the centerline giving the full-width cabin a symmetrical appearance. The next largest room would be the VIP which is located in the bow and takes the curving shape of that part of the vessel. The bed here too is centerline placed utilizing the curving bow for drawer and locker storage space. There is a skylight too in the VIP. The other two cabins are twins that are actually convertible to double cabins if needed for added versatility.
  3. The rest of the interior is comfortable and luxurious without being astronomically over--the-top. The Pearl 62 is actually envisioned as a family boat and therefore the saloon space is vital to the execution of that ethos. In fact, the flow needed to facilitate this on a 60-foot boat is paramount. With the aft saloon glass entry doors slid out of the way, there is pretty seamless transition from the saloon to the aft cockpit area. Effectively it combines both spaces into one giant space which is important on smaller vessels, prime space utilization.
  4. Onboard there are two places to control the vessel from for navigation. There is the main helm position forward main deck to the starboard side and then there is the flybridge navigation position which is also located to the starboard side of that deck. The remainder of space on the flybridge is taken up by seating and al-fresco dining. Overhead, there is a hard top with an automatic sliding membrane to control the amount of direct overhead sun you want on the area. Forward on the bow there is day bed seating as well as built-in seating while on the opposite end , the aft cockpit area has corner L-shaped seating. The Pearl 62 is driven by Volvo IPS systems that can propel the vessel to a 33-knot top speed. There are power options available for the Pearl 62. The standard power is twin Volvo IPS 950s. The options are a pair of Volvo IPS 1050s or IPS 1200s. The range at cruising speed is close to 250 nautical miles with a fuel capacity for 2,750 LT. Length overall is 61-feet with a beam of 17.4-feet. The draft is just 3.3-feet on this model.
