77-meter Project 'Black Shark' Commences Build

German builder Nobiskrug has started build of their latest project, a 77-meter yacht under the project name 'Black Shark'. The yacht brings the expertise and class of Winch Design along with Sinot Yacht Design. Nobiskrug held an official press meeting for the keel laying of the vessel earlier. Construction is expected to last until delivery in 2021.

Details surrounding this vessel are scarce as the yard is keeping major facets about the build quiet. They have provided a line drawing outlining what perhaps is the yacht's silhouette profile. Although details are few and far between the yard still held the press meeting for the ceremonial keel laying which involved the traditional good-luck coin.

The few details that are known about the build include space for a decent sized beach club, a garage for two guest tenders, a large spa pool. Nobiskrug says they will make the build from keel-laying to delivery public. Holger Kahl, managing director at Nobiskrug said, "The build process is often cloaked in darkness and secrecy, so on this occasion, we are enormously happy to be able to share our innovations and processes." He continued, "with that in mind, we have decided to open our doors and give exclusive behind-the-scenes access".
