Mulder has a new vessel in the works that they recently revealed. It is called the Mulder Fifty. Although it is a slightly different looking vessel at its core it is still an evolution out of the popular ThirtySix model. Mulder revealed the new design during their 85th anniversary celebrations. At 49.95-meters the vessel's internal volume is kept just below the 500 GT mark (499 GT). The yard will continue to use ThirtySix model elements in the design to keep costs down on the new model.

As far as we know the Fifty doesn't have an owner or is in build but there are some flexible features onboard for a new owner to work with. In terms of accommodation, the Fifty will likely come in a six-cabin layout but there is going to be provision for a seven-cabin layout if that is preferred. To achieve this, in place of the skylounge the 7th cabin would take residence in this area. Up to 11 crew will be accommodated onboard as well.

While the Fifty has been engineered to borrow some elements from the ThirtySix line it still has a character of its own and is more than just extra length added. The exterior is by Frank Laupman from Omega Architects. The sundeck is sizable boasting 75 square meters of space which will be fitted with the usual anticipated features like layout pads, a jacuzzi , bar and seating areas. A substantial hardtop is also there to create shade for respite from the sun. There is space available for a beach club in the transom where a small gym can be accommodated and access to a large 3-meter swim platform for direct entry into the water.
