News: Lurssen Delivers 123M Superyacht "Al Lusail"

123-meter Superyacht "Al Lusail" Delivered

Designed by H2 Yacht Design (exterior) and March and White (interior), the 123-meter superyacht "Al Lusail" was recently delivered and left Lurssen's build facilities. She is now located in Norway, to be specific Kristiansand which is a popular area for superyachts to travel to after delivery from European yards. The 406-foot superyacht was built under codename 'Jupiter' and has now been named Al Lusail, after a new city in Qatar. She also flies the Qatari flag from her stern. First photo by Jan Oddvar Eide.

Al Lusail's exterior design is one of the most 'busy' every done for Lurssen. H2 Design was responsible for creating the sleek, modern and intricate design. The yacht appears to rise six decks above the waterline with a high volume interior. Comparatively, the exterior deck space is small given the yacht's immense size. There is a large helipad on the bow for touch-and-go operations. Her main tender is an 11-meter limousine manufactured by Compass Tenders.
