  1. "Renegade"; The Latest Jarrett Bay 67
"Renegade" is one of the latest releases from the Jarrett Bay yard and she is dubbed the JB-67. Despite the model name, Renegade is actually closer to 56-feet long and packs a big punch for her size. Renegade may look like a 56-foot convertible sportfish with a traditional flybridge, but upon closer inspection you’ll find an additional lower helm station and convertible bulkhead that makes her a unique hybrid with the ability to transform into a hardtop express; AKA "The Swiss Army Knife of Billfishing."
  2. Not only is Renegade it a very capable platform between sportfishing and cruising roles, it's also a powerhouse with a pair of MTU 10V-2000 M96 engines rated at 1,600hp each. To assist with a smooth ride the yacht employs a gyro stabilizer. Fast cruising speed with this set-up is 34-knots but the vessel can clock 40-knots with the throttle wide open. Approximately 4,550 LT of fuel can be put into her tanks.
  3. On the interior, the fit and finish and decor evokes a feeling of comfort while still being understated luxurious. The arrangement in the lower level is a two-stateroom, single-head layout wrapped in a high-gloss Walnut finish with exotic Terra Wave accent pieces. Jarrett Bay’s handmade walnut and maple flooring extend throughout this space. It extends into the galley area too and the photo below gives an idea how the galley onboard is finished.
  4. The yacht has a lower helm as well as a flybridge helm both completed with triple 22'' Garmin displays that relay all the information needed for navigation and fish-finding. The full electronics package is from Atlantic Marine Electronics (AME). The flybridge is equally well capable and fitted-out complete with multi-color LED overhead lighting for day lighting and softer red lighting for night navigation.
  5. Since this is a sportfish yacht the business-end of the vessel is the aft cockpit. The mezzanine seating hides a 35-gallon stainless steel bait freezer and is joined by a tackle cabinet to starboard with a built-in Kenyon grill, as well as hidden gaff and mop storage. The centerpiece of the cockpit is a Release Marine fighting chair, which can be quickly interchanged with a Release Marine rocket launcher, specified by the owner to be dependent on the type of fishing they are engaged in. Hidden beneath teak hatches are dual 40-gallon stainless compartments – one refrigerated and one a freezer with bait trays. There is also a 50-gallon ice dump to starboard and a generous 120-gallon in-deck fish box with an automatic ice machine. The highlight of the transom is a large 100-gallon baitwell with a glass front joined by hidden tuna tubes beneath the transom covering boards.
  6. Basic specs for Renegade include a length of 55.6-feet, a beam of 17.6-feet and a draft of just 4.6-feet. Gross weight is around 70,000 lbs. She can carry around 950 LT of fresh water onboard along with 4,550 LT of fuel. Renegade is a performance sportfish and with a cruising speed of 34-knots, burns around 120 gallons per hour. At WOT -around 40-knots- the burn increases to 172.
