News: Horizon's First CC115 To Be Soon Completed

The first CC115 from Horizon Yachts will soon be completed and delivered to its Mexican owner. The sleek and stylish yacht will be on display later in the year at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) to make her debut. The CC115 is part of the CC Series from Horizon and the design is a collaboration between the yard and Cor D Rover.

She is customized to suit her owners - who have an abundance of knowledge and experience in both engineering and yachting - and will reflect not only their specific lifestyle requirements but also Horizon’s commitment to quality in design and construction. The yacht exists on a two full deck arrangement with a split level for the wheelhouse and open-air flying bridge. Power is expected to be by a pair of CAT C-32ACERT 1600BHP marine diesels. Fuel tankage onboard is approximately 21,009 LT and fresh water storage for 3,028LT. The CC115 comes in at around 145 tonnes or 319,670 lbs.

As the owner has a large family, he has thought long and hard about how best to utilize the spaces on the boat for their cruising journeys and provided many unique ideas to the design team – such as the family theatre area on the foredeck, a Hi-Lo swim platform at the back for a sea plane, and other specialized designs. This CC115 will be a true dream yacht for the owners – functional, luxurious and focused on entertaining their family for years to come.
