News: Feadship Launches 110M Hull 1007

110-meter Superyacht Launches At Feadship Makkum​

Feadship successfully launched their largest superyacht to-date earlier this week. The 110-meter yacht is also nearly the largest superyacht built in the Netherlands narrowly falling second to OceAnco's "Jubilee". Immediately the lines on this superyacht will look familiar to those who know the work of Michael Leach. Similarities are seen on this build consistent with two notable builds they collaborated on, namely Feadship's "Anna" and "Palladium" from German yard Blohm & Voss. Although in this build Michael Leach's work is on the interior in collaboration with the owner's personal decorator Brian McCarthy Inc.

You will remember seeing the unfinished hull and superstructure in the open outside of Scheepswerft Slob -Feadship's subcontracting builder- towards the end of 2016 before its subsequent transfer to Feadship for outfitting and finishing. "Symphony" another Feadship build only has a little while left with the distinction as Feadship's largest build at 101.5-meters. From aerial photography we can note that 1007 has a helipad on the aft upper deck along with what appears to be a small pool on the aft main deck. Feadship has not confirmed any details about this project and therefore other features onboard are unknown at this point. Based on circulated photos we see the main mast has been fitted and appears to a customized and oversized version of Feadship's Anna mast.
