  1. Cheoy Lee Global 104-foot Motoryacht Progress
Cheoy Lee is presently working on the Global line 104-footer motoryacht. In June, they detailed the progress so far. Firstly, the motoryacht is part of Cheoy Lee's brand new Global model. She is a tri-deck motoryacht with accommodation for around eight guests in ensuite bathroom cabins on the lower deck. There is accommodation for five crew members in three cabins. The design is via Jon Overing/M.G Burvenich with Sylvia Bolton to guide owners through the tedious interior conceptualization.
  2. A pair of CAT C32 - 1,900 horse power each - marine diesels will be powering the Global 104 class. The progress has been going along apace with the hull being released from the mold on June 17th in Doumen at the Cheoy Lee factory. Since then it has been moved into the fitout hall. The first hull is being built for a repeat client of Cheoy Lee and since it is the first hull in a new series, the company is being very careful to attain perfection on the first attempt. There is even a 1:1 scale mock-up to ensure they have everything going to expectation. The Global 104 is anticipated to only displace around 110-tonnes at half load thanks to light-weight composite structural engineering and resin infusion.
