Azimut S7 In Carbon Fiber Revealed

Azimut recently revealed a new model to the world. The Azimut S7 is a 21-meter express yacht that will either come in Sport-Fly of Coupe versions. The S7 is using carbon fiber in the construction particularly in the superstructure. Stefano Righini is responsible for the exterior design while the interior is the work of Francesco Guida. Although the design of the yacht has been revealed, the official presentation by Azimut will be at this year's edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

There is a four cabin layout for guests. The rooms are located on the lower deck with the full-beam master suite being the pride of the accommodations. Oversized rectangular picture windows dominate the room on port and starboard side welcoming a wealth of natural light to the space. Three other guest cabins are available for guests. The very modern concept has been beautiful executed by Guida. The bow of the S7 is very reminiscent of the design on the Azimut Grande 35 even though it is a smaller craft. What it lacks in size it makes up for in interior volume. The use of Carbon Fiber aids this process by keeping tonnage down and therefore the designers could open the interior more than usual. Power comes via 3 Volvo IPS units which are expected to push this yacht up to 35-knots. More information will be available when Azimut unveils this yacht officially at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
