  1. Canados 919 Gladiator RD Line
A new line is coming to reality from Italian builder Canados. The 919 Gladiator RD Series will be the next big thing for persons who have a passion for speed and anticipation of excitement. The 919 Gladiator RD will fuse the performance of an offshore powerboat with the luxury of a superyacht. Canados suggests that this yacht will be able to attain speeds up to 52-knots.
  2. To support these projected speeds, the 27.8-meter vessel will have triple MAN 2000s onboard all linked to performance surface drives. This vessel will be more than a day-boat as some are referring to her as. Depending on what the owner wants, the lower deck will be able to fit three or four cabins. Essentially you can sleep up to eight onboard if you wanted to. Of course both layouts will come with a full-beam master suite for the owner to enjoy.
  3. On the main deck is where most of the action will be as there is up to 65 square meters of social relaxing space. The aft main deck alone has 9 square meters of sunpadded area. Up front on the bow is also a major social and relaxation area onboard. Sunpads, bolstered seating with two tables give an alternate area to the main zone of the main deck. With the performance of this yacht Canados is giving owners even more flexibility. Her top speed will be 52-knots using the triple MAN 2000 horsepower engines with surface piercing drives. However, there is a package that calls for a pair of MTUs linked to conventional shafts. This set up will not allow for the 52-knot top end though. Standard is gyro-stabilization onboard so you can rest assured the device will help keep motion to a minimum. The first hull in this series is expected to launch in 2020.
